Delhi Travel Writing Workshop Report

The Travel Writing Workshop conducted in Delhi on 25th April in association with India Today Travel Plus and The Residence Group of Small Luxury Hotels was a sold-out event packed to capacity.

India Today Travel Plus Best Writer Spot Prize Winners RP Subramanian & Abha Iyengar with India Today Editor Ritu Rohatgi, Deputy Editor Kalyani Prasher & David Juman.

The workshop was highly interactive with plenty of writing exercises, lots of practical tips and sessions on writing for different types of publications and media, both online and offline.

Meet banker turned full time writer, RP Subramanian - our writer of the month. R P Subramanian ('Mani') spent the first two decades of his life in Shillong. A science graduate, he went on to become a banker and then quit after 14 years to take up freelance writing. He's currently based in Delhi. Besides writing he loves music and travel. He recently won the India Today Travel Plus Best Writer Award at a Travel Writing Workshop conducted in Delhi.
