I'm a journalism student, but I am totally bored with the same-old-same-old courses out tehre. SO I am thinking of doing some online courses. Has anyone come across any interesting online courses (that they have actually signed up and compelted)? I would love to try some new, fresh ideas and eprspectives rather than study the history of journalism and talk for hours about Woodward & Bernstein!

You could check the new courses that CHillifreeze is offering. I know I saw a thread somewhere on this forum where people were talking about them - maybe you will find someone who has taken a course here.

But let me tell you this - you will still need to study journalism the old-fashioned way if you expect to earn a living through your writing. And old as they may seem, Woodward and Bernstein will always remain a LANDMARk in journalism.

I'm a student too and I think its fascinating to know the past and to learn from it. Of course, as time passes, there is more and more to learn. but that's how you become an expert, but understanding from someone else's experience.
