How much do I charge?

I have been offered an assignment by an Event Management Company. They want me to put together a brochure for their 5th anniversary celebrations. I want to know how  to charge them for the 50 page brochure. Information on the market rates and whether I should be charging them for extra hours of research would be very useful. Suggestions are most welcome.

Re: How much do I charge?

Some writers bill by the hour, and some bill by the project. Some prefer a combination of the two, offering set-price services.

No matter how you decide to charge keep these points in mind:

Before you start work on a project, make sure that you know exactly what the client wants

When you quote a fee specify the number of revisions this includes.

Find out how much your competitors are charging. This will give you a good idea of the market value of your work.

Hope this was helpful.
