Help with chapters

When I am writing, I have aproblem deciding when to end a chapter. I keep wrtiing on and on and am not very sure when to cut off a particular chapter. Will create problems for me when I send the completed manuscript to publishers.

Any tips suggestions or websites that could help will be greatly appreciated.

Re: Help with chapters

Draw up an outline of your novel and decide what are the key incidents highlighted through the book. Ideally a fresh development or incident can be the start of a new chapter.
