How do I become a Blogger?

How do I become a Blogger?

I'm thinking of starting my own blog. I think many writers have their own blogs and it is a good way to exhibit your style and range of writing. My problems:

- What to blog about?
- How to go about starting a blog? Would one on Blogspot suffice? (Some people have blogs with their own names and domains etc.)
- How often to update it?

Can someone who has experience/knowledge of blogging help me please?

Blogging is hard work but if you like what you are doing, you wont mind the effort. You can write about book or movie reviews, spirituality or benefits of yoga in your blog; what is important is to establish a niche. Once you have a niche it is easy to draw a large audience.

You may decide to post once a week or thrice a week, but what is is important is consistency. Once you establish a pattern, stick to it. .

Connect with fellow bloggers by visiting their blogs and commenting on them. This not only helps sharpen blogging skills but also helps generate new ideas.
