Write Sense
Have you made these mistakes? I have sometimes and here are some tips on how to avoid them.
Loose vs. Lose
If you use loose instead of lose when you write, you will surely lose your audience.
Its vs. It’s
“It’s” is a contraction of “it is” or “it has ” and “Its” is a possessive pronoun. So the read the sentence aloud to avoid this error.
i.e. vs. e.g.
The Latin phrase id est means “that is,” so i.e. is a way of making something clear and The phrase exempli gratia means “for example”. Sp please don’t use one for the other.
Me vs. I
People tend to use one for the other. A simple way to sort the confusion is to remove the other person from the sentence.  Take the sentence, “John and I/me were invited to a party”, If you removed John from the sentence would you say, “Me was invited to a party”?
 Your vs. You’re
“Your” is a possessive pronoun, as in “your house “and “You’re” is a contraction for “you are.” So pause and take a good look at what you are trying to say.
