To Kill a Mocking Bird

To Kill a Mocking Bird, Harper Lee's Pulitzer prize winning novel is one of my all time favorites. Set in the deep South and seen through the eyes of curious, clear-eyed Scout, it unfolds a tale of innocence, violence and indomitable courage.

This is a very rich story, that is brilliant and beautiful on first reading, and easily mined over multiple readings for additional insight. It is book that inpired me when I first read it 20 years ago and its chief protagonist, Atticus Finch  has been a personal favorite. It's a book that warms the heart and will continues to inspire people for generations to come.
